Griff’s Pizzeria & Bistro Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

We will depart the Chevron Station on Santa Maria Way by turning right out of the parking lot and crossing over to the left hand turn lane at the traffic light. We will head to the Highway 101 on ramp and head north on Highway 101. We will continue north on Highway 101 and take the Highway 58 exit to Santa Margaretta. We will travel through town and turn right near the park and continue on Highway 58 to Highway 229 where we will turn left. Lots of twisties and great scenery on this stretch of road as we head to Creston. We will travel through Creston and make a left onto Highway 41 west. We will travel 3.8 miles and turn right onto Cripple Creek Road and then left onto El Pomar Drive (1 mile). We will stay on El Pomar Drive and travel through wine country and the road will change to Templeton Road just before we come into Templeton (9.5 miles). Just after crossing the bridge on the southeast side of town we will turn right at the traffic light onto E. Main Street and travel through town. Our destination will be on the right after .7 miles and we will find parking in the street or the adjacent parking lots. Griff’s Pizzeria and Bistro will be our final destination / termination point for this ride. Griff’s open’s its doors at 11:30 am.
After lunch you can stay in the local area or travel back with the group as we will head back south on E. Main Street, turn right and cross over Highway 101 and pick up the on ramp and head south back to the Santa Maria area. Total miles to the destination: 73.7 miles
