Hogs in Hills 2 Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Ride Rating: Moderate

This will be a 50/50 Dice Roll… to play you put in $5.  There will be 5 rolls. The person with the highest and lowest will split the pot, if there’s a tie with numbers, there will be a roll-off, and the one with the lowest roll with one dice will win.

You don’t have to do the dice roll game to ride, so come on and enjoy the day.

**PLEASE come a few minutes early so we have time to roll the dice and you need to bring FIVE DOLLARS … I will not have change.

Today we’ll be riding through some beautiful country on several back roads taking scenic & sweeping curves by vineyards and through the canyons.  We may see some wildlife along the way and even a Wild Hog or two!

We will stop in the town of Harmony which is on our way to our lunch stop, the population is 18!  We can see a glass blower do his magic and the pottery barn and chapel, maybe get an ice cream and see the full size statues of cows.

Bring your water and a snack; our lunch stop will be around 1pm.

Our lunch stop in Morro Bay is at Lola’s 2848 Main St Morro Bay 93442.  This will be the end of the ride

Start in Arroyo Grande at the old K-mart Parking Lot

Turn right onto Oak Park Road
Turn Left onto Old Oak Park Road
Turn left onto west Ormonde Road
Turn right onto Price Canyon
Turn left onto Highway 227
Turn right onto Biddle Ranch Road
Turn left onto Orcutt Road
Turn right onto Johnson Road
Turn right on to San Luis Drive
Turn left onto California
Turn right onto Monterey and onto Highway 101 north.
Santa Margarita Park (Bathroom stop & pick up north county riders)

(Roll the dice 2x)

Left out of here and get on El Camino to go into Atascadero
Right onto Highway 41
Left onto Templeton Road
At the stop sign, Left onto Templeton Road
Right onto Main Street (ride through Templeton)
Right onto Ramada Drive

Stop at the Chevron Station … Gas and Potty stop

Turn left at stop light, go under freeway, and turn right on the other side of the freeway, stay on this road, turns into Spring Street
Turn left on 6^th Street
Jiggidy-jog onto Pacific avenue -Turns into Peachy Canyon
Left on Vineyard
Right on Highway 46
Left on Highway 1
Left into the town of Harmony.

Stop for ice cream and look at glass blowing and pottery barn.
