Ride Rating: Nice & Easy

We will be leaving the Chevron parking lot making a right turn onto College and being careful getting on College because of a blind curve to the left and on-coming traffic. We will make a left hand turn lane at the traffic light. After we get onto Santa Maria Way we will be staying on the outside lane (right lane) to make the southbound Highway 101 on ramp. We will be staying on Highway 101 southbound until we come to the Fairview Avenue exit (exit number 105) in Goleta. At the top of the off ramp we we will be making a right turn onto Fairview Avenue and we will move into the left turn lane and then make a left onto Hollister Avenue.   We will travel a couple blocks to Pine Avenue and we will be making a right turn on Pine Avenue. The destination is on the left (298 Pine Avenue) La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant.

Menu

After lunch those that want to leave may do so and if the rest want to go home by way of San Marcos Pass (Highway 154) then stay with the Road Captain, Me! (Richard). Getting back onto Pine Avenue we will make a left onto Hollister Avenue and then at the traffic light we will make a right onto Fairview Avenue and we will pickup the Highway 101 southbound again on the right. We will be staying on Highway 101 until we come to the State Street Exit (101B) and then make a left onto Highway 154 at the traffic light. We will be staying on Highway 154 till the Highway 101 freeway on ramp that will take us north.   As you need to, peel off at your getting off point.

I will be making the off ramp to Los Alamos to head home by way of Highway 1.

Total mileage from the Chevron is approximately 140 miles. So be sure to top off your bike’s gas tank.
