Ragged Point Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING ONE GUEST WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)
PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!
Ride Rating: Moderate
Leaving the K-Mart parking lot, we will make a right turn towards the 101 Freeway and head north. Once on Highway 101 we will stay on it until we take the Highway 46 west exit and pick up some gas and north county riders at the Chevron Station. We will then head to Highway 46 west where we will stay until we turn left onto Old Creek Road. There will be some areas we will have to get into single file. Staying on Old Creek Road (watching out for bicyclists) we will come to Highway 1 where we will make a right turn. Once on Highway 1 we will go through Cayucos and Cambria. We will be staying on Highway 1 until we come to our destination Ragged Point.
There are a couple of places to eat whether it be the Restaurant where you can eat inside or out by the fire pit, or the Hamburger and hot dog place. Different times of the year they have an outside Bar-b-q also going. While there, be sure to take a walk down to the point where the scenery is breathtaking (if there isn’t any fog). For those that wish to leave early or continue on you are free to do so. For those that wish to ride together back towards Santa Maria.
Santa Maria will be the termination point.
