
Ride to the Redwoods

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

We will be making a right turn out of the parking lot towards the on ramp to the 101 freeway northbound. We will stay on Highway 101 north for approximately 60 miles. We will take the off-ramp to 46 west/Cambria and we will turn right then a left at the light to the McChevron Station (McDonald’s / Chevron) on the left to pick-up riders and some fuel for those that need it. Back on the freeway headed north we will travel 53-miles to King City we will stop at the Chevron for fuel etc. that is located on Broadway. Next stop will be Morgan Hill as we continue north and the House of Thunder Harley Shop. From the 101 freeway we will take exit 365 make a right turn to Tennant Avenue, make a left on Condit road and the Harley Shop on the left. After a short time we will go left on Condit Road then make a left on East Dunne Avenue. We are going to make a right on Laurel Road and the Chevron will be on the right for fuel and Scrambl’s is across from Chevron where we will have lunch. Once again on the Freeway headed north to San Jose where we will take a right at exit 384 picking up the 680. We will be staying on 680 (Sinclair Fwy) highway. Staying on 680 to Walnut Creek and and we will be taking exit 13B to Highway 24. We will stay on Highway 24 until it goes into Interstate 580 (MaCarthur FWY). We will then stay on Highway 580 until exit 13B on the right and this will take us to 580 to the John Knox FWY. We will stay on 580 to the toll booth and roll right on through. Continuing on 580 we will be going across the bridge (the Richmond and San Rafael bridge). Staying on 580 until it turns into the 101 freeway San Rafael. We will stay on the 580 to the 101 freeway for 22 more miles (102 from last stop). Taking exit 472B Lakeville following the curve and then turning right and heading to the In & Out Burger then up the street to the Chevron Station. After a break, head right out of the parking lot back onto Lakeville Street then make a left at the second traffic light to get back onto the Redwood Highway (101 FWY). Traveling for another 76 miles to the 548 exit to East Gobbi then a right at the light onto south Orchard to 693 S. Orchard to Super 8. This will be our destination for Day 1.
