Willow Late Lunch Ride

IF YOU CANNOT ARRIVE TO THE DEPARTURE POINT 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING PLEASE DO NOT SIGNUP FOR MY RIDE. THIS IS OUT OF RESPECT TO THOSE RIDERS THAT CAN MAKE IT ON TIME AND ARE READY TO GO WHEN THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING IS COMPLETED AND SHOWING UP LATE IS UNACCEPTABLE.
CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)
PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!
Ride Rating: Nice & Easy
After our pre-ride briefing we will leave the Chevron parking lot, cut across two active lanes of traffic and get into the left turn lane and then head to the Highway 101 north on ramp. This is a short but enjoyable ride with time to ride afterwards to other areas on the Central Coast if you so choose. We will head north on Highway 101 to the Highway 166 exit and get in the left hand turn lane. We will turn left and travel under the Highway 101 overpass and then make a right onto Hutton Road that turns into Joshua Street and again into Orchard Road. We will continue going straight at the Division traffic light and then to W. Tefft Street and make a right turn onto Tefft Street and shift into the left lane so we can make a left at the first traffic light which will be Pomeroy Road. We will turn left and travel north with some nice sweeping turns and slight elevation changes along the route. As we approach Willow Road we will get into the left turn lane at the traffic light and make a left turn and then an immediate right turn into the parking lot of our destination, Willow Restaurant that will be on our right. Parking should not be an issue. We will go in and be seated and they will bring menu’s too us. They do not take reservations at this restaurant so it is first come first serve.
As with most of the Sunday Late Lunch Rides this gives those members who go to church the opportunity to get a little riding in and also a lunch. This is more about the social time with each other than the ride since almost all of the Late Lunch rides are via direct on the route to the destination since there are a lot of places we go that close at 2 pm.
This will be our destination / termination point for this ride.
