Heading for the on ramp going south on Highway 101. Once on the 101 freeway and heading south we will then be taking the Union Valley Parkway exit and we’ll make a right onto Union Valley Parkway. Staying on Union Valley Parkway we will be going through 4 traffic lights and 1 stop sign coming up to another stop sign on Blosser Road.   We will make a left onto Blosser Road and stop at the next stop sign\, then make a right onto Solomon Road.  We will stay on Solomon Road until the next stop sign which will be at Highway 1.  We will make a right turn and stay on Highway 1 till the next stop sign at Black Road where we will make a right turn after the stop.  We will continue on to the second entrance (Tanglewood Drive).  Park in front of the house at the curb or along the left side of the driveway on the concrete pad. \nIf you have any questions about the BBQ please email Richard at director@sm-hog.com / or call (805) 698-6353 \nRichard and Helen will be providing the drinks and the burgers.  Please contact them if you have thoughts of bringing something.  Potato and Mac salad are spoken for. \nFor ride questions\, please contact Mark. \nMark ‘Bulldog’ Esola\n805.588.5818[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

After my pre-ride briefing\, we will leave Santa Maria Harley-Davidson by making a right hand turn out of the parking lot onto Preisker Lane. We will travel to the traffic light on Broadway\, and I will wait for the light to turn green so we can all get through. We will turn right and travel over Highway 101 and onto the northbound on ramp. We will stay on Highway 101 to the Highway 1 exit in San Luis Obispo (29.8 miles). We will drop back quickly on the speed as we make a right turn and then another right turn onto Toro Street and then onto Santa Rosa Street. At the light we will turn right and travel through four traffic lights before things open up for us on Highway 1. We will be on Highway 1 to Morro Bay\, and we will take the Old Creek Road (17.4 miles) in Cayucos where we will turn right. We will stay on Old Creek Road for 9.1 miles as we encounter several elevation changes and twisties. When we come to the stop sign at Highway 46\, we will turn left and travel back towards Highway 1. We will travel west for 11.3 miles with some beautiful scenery along the route and at Highway 1 we will turn right. We will travel the outskirts of Cambria to the north end of town where we will turn left at the traffic light onto Windsor Boulevard and then make an immediate right onto Moonstone Beach Drive. We will be backing off on the speed we will travel to our destination that will be on the right (5.6 miles)\, Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill where we will find parking in the back parking lot or across the street along the shoreline. We will make an immediate left onto Santa Maria Way and follow it to Highway 101 north. We will exit at Highway 166 and turn left at the light. We will turn right on Hutton Road.  We will continue on to Joshua Street which will turn into Orchard Road.  We will then turn right on Tefft Street and make an immediate left on Pomeroy Road.   We will then turn left on Camino Perillo and then take a right on Chesapeake Place.  After a short distance we will turn right on Zenon Way and then left on S. Halcyon Road.  We will then turn right on Highway 1 and travel to Valley Road and turn right.  We will make a right on Fair Oaks Avenue\, a left on Traffic Way\, a right on Bridge Street and then a right on Nelson Street. After a short distance we will turn left on Mason Street and then make a right on E. Branch Street\, make a left on Corbett Canyon Road / Highway 227 before we make a right on Carpenter Canyon Road / Highway 227.  This road turns into Edna Road / Highway 227.   We will then turn left on Buckley Road\, make a right on South Higuera Street\, and then make a left on Los Osos Valley Road.   We will make a right on Turri Road and this will take us to S. Bay Boulevard where we will turn left and travel into Los Osos where we will turn right on Nipomo Avenue and then make a left on 11th Street followed by a right on Santa Ynez Avenue that will take us to our destination. \nThe Ride will terminate at Sylvester’s Burgers and we can say our goodbyes after lunch. \nHope you can make it! Travel through the Village to the 4 way stop\nRight on Huasna which turns into Lopez Drive\nRight on Orcutt Road\nRight at the Orcutt Roundabout\nRight on Johnson Avenue at the 3 way stop\nRight at the San Luis Drive split\nLeft on California Boulevard\nRight on Monterey Street\, then merge onto Highway 101 North\nExit Highway 46 East\nLeft on Airport Road\nRight on Dry Creek Road\nThe Museum is located on the Left\n(Total – 75 miles and approximately 1 hours and 40 minutes) \nWhen we arrive at the museum\, we will park in front of the gift shop\, go in and pay our admission fees and use the restroom if needed. \nAdults – $18\nSeniors (60+) – $15\nVeteran – $12\nActive – Free\nGroup of 10 or more – $15 each \nThe Museum Director “Ken” will then give us a brief history lesson about the museum.
