Leaving the Pappy’s Parking lot we will make a right hand turn towards Highway 101. We will travel north on Highway 101 and take the Highway 166 exit on the right. We will turn right and stay on Highway 166 and then take a right onto Tepusque Canyon Road. We will change to single file formation for most of the canyon road (14.7 miles). As we come out of the canyon and as we come to a fork in the road we stay left which will take us over the bridge to Foxen Canyon Road. We will make a left turn on Foxen Canyon Road and travel through some wine country. We will be in staggered formation for most of the road. We will stay straight (Foxen Canyon makes a left ) on Zaca Creek Road to the cross road Highway 154. Being careful with oncoming traffic we will make a left on Highway 154. Staying on Highway 154 we will turn right on Foxen Canyon Road to an immediate left on Steele Street and stop at the sitting area just before Grand Ave. We will make a short pit stop here and change leathers. We will then get back on the road and we will make a left on Grand Avenue and then a right getting back onto Highway 154 for 21 miles. We will be making a left at Stagecoach Road. This is a scenic route to the Cold Spring Tavern. Coming to the Tavern we will have to be careful because of pedestrians, cars, and other motorcycles. Also, the parking area in front of the Tavern and restaurant is gravel. You can choose to eat outside or in the restaurant. The food is pretty darn good.
Cold Spring Tavern is the termination point of the ride.
