PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

Welcome everyone to our 2024 Death Valley Ride. The hottest place on earth. The average temperature for Death Valley is in the upper 70’s to low 80’s. So come join Eva and I on this riding adventure to one of the most awesome and beautiful rides there is.

We will meet at the Chevron Station next to Pappy’s Restaurant on Betteravia Road. Briefing at 7:15 am. Kick Stands Up at 7:30 am.

From the parking lot:

Right on Betteravia Road.
Right onto the Highway 101 northbound onramp.
Exit at Highway 166, turn right continuing east on Highway 166.
Stopping at the New Cuyama Park for a bathroom break.
Continuing east on Highway 166.
Left on Old River Road.
Right on Bear Mountain Blvd / Hwy 223.
Stop at the Shell Station at Highway 223 / Wheeler Ridge Road prior to Arvin for gas. (118 miles).
Continuing east on Highway 223 to Arvin.
Left on North Comanche Drive.
Right on Highway 178.
Stopping at Lake Isabella for gas and breakfast at the Dam Korner Café (50 miles).
Continuing east on Highway 178.
Left on Highway 14 heading north.
Highway 14 will turn into Highway 395.
Stopping at Olancha for gas. (92 miles).
Right on Highway 190 heading east going through Death Valley.
Left on Scotty’s Castle Road.
Right on Daylight Pass Road which turns into Highway 374.
Arriving at Beatty, Nevada (119 miles).
We will fuel at the station next to the Stage Coach Hotel.
We have arrived at our destination and termination point for day 1.
We can discuss dinner plans at that time.

Day 2:

West on Highway 374.
Stopping at the welcome to Death Vally Sign for a quick photo (9.5 miles).
We are going to head south on Highway 190 making several stops.

Furnace Creek Store
Zabriskie Point
Dante’s View
Longstreet Casino for gas and lunch (82 miles).
West on Highway 127.
Stopping at the Amargosa Opra House
Right on Highway 178 / Jubilee Pass Road heading north.
Bad Water Basin
Artists Palette
Continue north to Highway 190 to Highway 374 and back to Beatty (150 miles).
We have arrived at our destination and termination point for day 2.

Day 3:

Our return route: West on Highway 374 which turns into Highway 190.
Stopping at the Father Crowley Overlook for a bathroom break.
Continuing west on Highway 190.
South on Highway 395 to Olancha where we will stop for gas (119 miles).
Continuing south on Highway 395
Right on Highway 58 west to Tehachapi for gas and lunch (103 miles).
After lunch, continue west on Highway 58 to Highway 223 and turn left.
Travel through Arvin, stopping at the Shell Station at Highway 223 / Wheeler Ridge Road for gas (35 miles).
Continue west on Highway 223,
Left on Old River Road.
Right on Highway 166 taking us back to the Santa Maria area (113 miles) which is our termination point for day 3.
