Estrella Warbird Museum Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

The final destination/termination point for this ride is the The Estrella Warbirds Museum @ 4251 Dry Creek Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446

There will be one rest stop TBD.

From the Santa Maria Harley Davidson Dealership:

Right on Preisker Lane
Right on Broadway
North on Highway 101
Exit Grand Avenue #187A
Right on Branch Street. Travel through the Village to the 4 way stop
Right on Huasna
Turns into Lopez Drive. Ride out to Lopez Lake and circle past the guard shack
(25 miles approximately 30 minutes)

West on Lopez Drive
Right on Orcutt Road
Right at the Orcutt Roundabout
Right on Johnson Avenue at the 3 way stop
Right at the San Luis Drive split
Left on California Boulevard
Right on Monterey Street, then merge onto Highway 101 North
Exit Highway 46 East
Left on Airport Road
Right on Dry Creek Road
The Museum is located on the Left
(Total – 75 miles and approximately 1 hours and 40 minutes)

When we arrive at the museum, we will park in front of the gift shop, go in and pay our admission fees and use the restroom if needed.

Seniors (60+) – $15
Veteran – $12
Active – Free
Group of 10 or more – $15 each

The Museum Director “Ken” will then give us a brief history lesson about the museum. He will then have us pull around and park on the tarmac for a group photo.

Then we explore the Warbird Museum and Woodlands Car Collection.

The Museum has an FA/18 flight simulator – $25 per ½ hour.  Appointments are recommended.

*I am planning to bring a sack lunch and I encourage you to do the same and join us out at one of the picnic tables among the planes.
