Eva’s Grill Ride & Duane’s U-Turn Practice

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

Welcome everyone. This is a two-destination ride.

For our 1^st destination, our pre-ride briefing will be held at 11:00 am and will be departing Pappy’s parking lot at 11:15 am heading to Eva and Robert’s house for lunch.

As we depart Pappy’s parking lot, we will be turning left onto Betteravia Road watching for oncoming traffic. We will continue East to Foxen Canyon Road where we will turn right. We will pass by the old Garey store and then on through Sisquoc heading South on Palmer Road. We will follow Palmer Road to Highway 101 where we will turn right heading North. We will exit at Union Valley Road and turn left at the stop sign. We will continue West to Bradley Road and turn right. North to the next light, Foster Road and turn left. Three blocks to Woodland Street, turn left again. We will take the next left onto Glenview Drive and we will be facing our house on the right. There will be parking in the driveway and on the street. Address: 4172 Glenview Drive in Orcutt. Total miles to the destination: 25 miles. Eva will be cooking Hamburgers, Elk burgers and Zucchini Boats.

After lunch, we will head to our 2^nd destination & termination point of the ride, Christian Family Church of God. Located at 324 North Suey Road in Santa Maria.

Our route to the Christian Family Church of God will be as follows: North on Glenview Drive, right on Foster Road, right on Bradley Road, left on Union Valley Road, North on Highway 101, Take the Main Street exit, turn left and then a right onto Main Street heading East. Left on North Suey Road traveling a short distance to the Church on the right.

Duane will set up a course for U-Turn and slow maneuvering procedures for those who would like to attend. Duane is willing to instruct and assist if needed.

There will not be any fuel or rest stops on this short of a ride.

For Participation Points it will be one point for the ride and one point for the U-Turn practice.

The church will be the destination/termination point for the ride / event.
