Griff’s Bistro & Pizzeria Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Ride Rating: Moderate

Please come with a full tank of gas.  We will depart the dealership turning right out of the parking lot onto Preisker Lane and at the traffic light we will turn right.  We will head to the Highway 101 on ramp and head north on Highway 101.  We will continue north on Highway 101 and take the Highway 58 exit to Santa Margaretta.  We will travel through town and turn right near the park and if there are any north county riders that want to join they can do so when we make the turn near the park.  I will not be stopping at the park.  We will then continue on Highway 58 to O’Donovan where we will turn left.  This will take us into Creston.  We will turn right on Highway 229 and then make a left onto Highway 41 west.  We will travel 3.8 miles and turn right onto Cripple Creek Road and then left onto Creston Road (2.6  miles).  We will stay on Creston Road and travel through wine country and veer to the left after 3.1 miles at the Y and the road will change to Neil Spring Road and this will take us to El Pomar Road after 3.6 miles.  We will turn right and stay on El Pomar Road for 3.1 miles and we will turn right onto Main Street at the light.  We will travel through town and our destination will be on the right after .7 miles and we will find parking in the street or the adjacent parking lots…when you see an opening, take it!  Griff’s Bistro and Pizzeria will be our final destination / termination point for this ride.  Griff’s open’s its doors at 11:30 am.

After lunch you can stay in the local area or travel back with the group as we will head back south on E. Main Street, turn right and cross over Highway 101 and pick up the on ramp and head south back to the Santa Maria area.  Total miles to the destination: 73.7 miles
