Highway 166 / 33 Loop Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)
PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!
Ride Rating: Moderate
Leaving the Chevron parking lot we will be making a right turn and then a left turn at the light and head towards the Highway 101 on ramp going north. Staying on the 101 freeway we will take the Highway 166 exit on the right. Making a right turn onto Highway 166 and we will be staying on Highway 166 for approximately 60-miles and we will make a stop at the New Cuyama Park. We will be making this stop a short one, shedding clothes, using the restroom and drinking some water (30-minutes). Leaving the park we will be making a right turn back onto Highway 166 for another 10-miles and then making a right on CA Highway 33. Staying on Highway 33 for 59-miles to Ojai. Along the way is some great scenery, twisties, and elevation changes. We will be traveling staggered and single file off-and-on. Coming into Ojai we will make a left at the traffic light onto Highway 150. We will travel maybe 2-miles to the Chevron station on the left. We will fuel up and then go across the street to the Ojai Pizza Company. Great food. After lunch we will be getting back on the main road (Highway 150) and we will travel in the direction we came in on. Following that road for a bit we will then be making a right onto Baldwin Road which is still Highway 150. Staying on Highway 150 it will change into La Casitas Pass Road which is still Highway 150. After a few miles we will turn right onto Highway 192 the Frontage Road. There we will stay until we come to San Marcos Pass (Highway 154) in Santa Barbara. Making a right we will stay on Highway 154 till we come to the 101 freeway and we will then head north to Santa Maria.
The return trip to Santa Maria will be the termination point of the ride.
