Hitching Post 2 Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Ride Rating: Nice & Easy

After our briefing, we will leave the shop, turn right on Preisker Lane, right onto Broadway and get on US-101 N and travel a short distance to the Highway 166 / Maricopa exit. We turn right at the light and an immediate left onto Thompson Avenue. We take this to Willow Road and turn left to Highway CA-1 S and turn left, going through Guadalupe. At Black Road we turn right and continue on W Lompoc Casmalia Road to San Antonio Road W and veer left. At Highway CA-1 S, we go right to the Vandenberg SFB and turn left, staying on Highway CA-1 S. Continuing on Purisima Road to the round-about we take the 2nd left onto Highway CA-246 E to Buellton. The outdoor tasting room, where lunch is served, is next to the Hitching Post II restaurant. We turn right into the parking lot.

The menu is lunch fare, with sandwiches, salads, pulled pork and oak-grilled burgers. The food is very good and we might get a visit with Owner /Chef Frank Ostini. The easy ride is 1 hr, 15 min and 64 miles.
