Jalama Beach Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)
PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Destination will be the Jalama Beach Restaurant.
Termination Point will be at the Jalama Beach parking lot after having lunch.
Rest/Fuel Stops – There will be one rest stop in Los Alamos for this ride.
Welcome everyone. After our 9:00am briefing, we will depart Pappy’s parking lot turning left and heading east on Betteravia Road. We will ride for 7 miles and turn right on Foxen Canyon Road. We will travel through the small community of Garey heading to Sisquoc and turn left continuing on Foxen Canyon Road. We will travel another 14 miles to Alisos Canyon Road where we will turn right. We will ride for 6.5 miles to Highway 101 and turn right heading north towards Los Alamos. We will exit at Los Alamos (Exit #154) and travel through town to Collins Market on the left for a rest break. Continuing westbound on Highway 135 to Harris Grade Road and turn left. We will continue on Harris Grade Road to Rucker Road and turn left again. Cruise down to Purisima Road and turn left once again. A little further to Mission Gate Road where we will make a right turn and then a short distance over to Highway 246 and turn right. We will follow Highway 246 to Lompoc and turn left at the stoplight once we reach Highway 1. We will continue on Highway 1 for 4 miles to Jalama Road and turn right. We will ride another 14 miles on Jalama Road ending up at our destination “Jalama Beach”. Total miles to the destination is 70 miles and approximately 1 hour & 45 minutes of actual riding time.
Come out and join us for a great burger while sharing lots of laughter and comradery with our fellow riders and guest.
Our return route will be: Jalama Road to Highway 1 and turn left, to Highway 246 and turn right, to Mission Gate Road and turn left, to Purisima Road and turn left, Purisima Road runs into Highway 1 and we will travel to Vandenberg Base and turn right continuing onto Highway 135 north back to the Santa Maria Area.
