Old Juan’s Cantina (was Jalama) Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Ride Rating: Moderate

After the briefing we will leave the parking lot going right to the traffic light and get in the left hand lane. Leaving the parking lot being careful of the oncoming traffic in that blind curve.  We will head toward the on ramp heading south on the 101 freeway.  We will be getting off at the Clark Avenue exit and staying left on the off ramp.  We will be making a left onto Clark Avenue and head east until we come to the cross street Dominion Road.   We will turn left onto Dominion Road until we come to Foxen Canyon Road.  We will make a right and stay on Foxen Canyon Road till the Tepusquet Road turnoff on the left. Going across the bridge and we will make a hard left onto Santa Maria Mesa Road.  Santa Maria Mesa Road will go back into Foxen Canyon Road and after going a short distance and making a right onto Philbric Road.  Philbric Road will go into E. Main Street.  We will continue on E. Main Street and we will make a right turn onto Panther Drive.  We will continue on Panther Drive until we come to a four way stop.  We will continue straight and will become E. Donovan Road which will take us to Highway 101 where we will turn left at the traffic light and we will get onto the Highway 101 north on ramp.  We will continue traveling north on Highway 101 and we will take the Highway 166 off ramp.   We will stay on the right side of the exit ramp and make a right turn onto 166 and then an immediate left turn onto S. Thompson Avenue and this will take us through the east side of Nipomo.  We will continue going straight and the road will change to N. Thompson Avenue.  This road will change to Los Berros Canyon Road and we will now travel under Highway 101 and we will continue heading west until we come to the intersection at Valley Road.  We will turn left at the stop sign and then a right onto Highway 1.  This will take us into Oceano passing by the Rock and Roll Diner that will be on our left and two blocks later we will turn left at the traffic light onto Pier Road and our destination will be on the right, Old Juan’s Cantina.   There should be plenty of parking available for us.
