1889 Restaurant Brunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

Ride Rating: Nice & Easy

1889 Restaurant will be the destination / termination point for this ride.  If you would like to ride back to the Santa Maria area with Pappy, we will go after lunch. 

Leaving Harley’s parking lot, we will make a right turn toward the traffic light and another right on the green light. Heading to the on ramp for Highway 101 north.  We will follow Highway 101 north and we will take Exit 175 (toward 166 east) and at the traffic light we take a right turn then a quick left turn onto South Thompson Avenue.  We will stay on S. Thompson Avenue and travel through Nipomo and go under the Highway 101 overpass.  At the Stop sign it becomes Los Berros Road.  We will follow Los Berros Road to Valley Road and turn right. We will then make a right turn at Fair Oaks Road then make a left turn at Traffic Way and then make a slight right on Bridge Street and a right turn on Nelson Street.  We will then make a left turn on South Mason Street and follow it to East Branch Street and make a right turn at Huasna Street.  We will follow Huasna Street a couple of miles and it becomes Lopez Drive.  We will continue on Lopez Drive until we come to Orcutt Road and we will make a left turn.  We will stay on Orcutt Road all the way to San Luis Obispo.  We will then make a right turn at Johnson Road and another right turn on San Luis Drive. At the San Luis High School we will make a left turn onto California Boulevard and follow it to Monterey Street we will then turn right and follow it to the Highway 101 north on ramp and we will enter Highway 101 north.  We will travel over the Cuesta Grade to take Exit 211 onto Highway 58 East/ El Camino Real and head on into Santa Margarita.  The 1889 Restaurant (formerly J’s Country kitchen) is on the left at 22412 El Camino Real.  Parking is available in front of the restaurant.
