Loading Chute Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Ride Rating: Nice & Easy

The Loading Chute will be our destination/termination point for this ride.

After our pre-ride briefing, we will head north from Santa Maria Harley-Davidson on Highway 101 to the Santa Margarita exit 211. We will merge onto CA-58 E and continue straight onto W Pozo Road. We then turn left onto Las Pilitas Road and take this narrow country road for 7 miles. Turning left on Parkhill Road we will jog right onto Huer Huero Road for more narrow twisties.  After 4 miles, we turn right onto CA-58 E and left onto O’Donovan Road, which takes us into Creston.  We’ll eat lunch at the Loading Chute, which is the termination point.

I will take CA-229 to CA-58 to Santa Margarita and 101 S. for the return trip.  It is a 64 mile trip from the shop and takes nearly 1.5 hrs.
