Parkfield Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

Santa Margarita Park will be the destination / termination point for this ride.
After our pre-ride briefing at Santa Maria Harley-Davidson at 9:15 am we will leave the parking lot onto Preisker Lane and travel to the Broadway traffic light. I will wait for the light to turn green for us and we will turn right and head north on Highway 101 and travel to Highway 46 west (Chevron / McDonalds) where we will pick up north county riders. I will provide a ride briefing at this point for any riders that we may pick up there for this ride. We will take a SHORT break and fuel up before continuing the ride. From here we will take the on ramp and continue north on Highway 101 to San Miguel and exit on Mission Street. We will travel a short distance before turning right onto 14th Street / N. River Road and go over the riverbed bridge and turn right onto Cross Canyons Road and then an immediate left onto Indian Valley Road. At the split we will stay to the right and get on Vineyard Canyon Road that will take us on into Parkfield. We will stop here for lunch at the Parkfield Cafe (Lunch Hours begin at 11:30 am). We will also have some time to take in the Parkfield sites as this is the Earthquake Capital of the World.
After lunch we will head south on Cholame Road to Highway 41 / 46 where we will head west exiting in Shandon on W. Centre Street and then pick-up Highway 41 south to Highway 229 through Creston and on to Highway 58. Traveling a short distance on Highway 58 we will pass through Santa Margarita and onto Highway 101 south and back to the Santa Maria area.
The return trip to the Santa Margarita area will be the final destination / termination point for this ride. (SEE ROUTE MAP BELOW)
