The Redwood Cafe will be the destination / termination point for this ride.
We will depart be departing the Chevron Station on Santa Maria Way after our 9:00 am pre-briefing…..kickstands up at 9:15 am and we head north on Highway 101 and exit at Los Osos Boulevard and head west to Turri Road where we will turn right. After a short distance of hills and curves we will then turn right onto S. Bay Boulevard and travel north to the Highway 1 entrance ramp and take Highway 1 north. We will then travel north on Highway 1 for approximately 6-miles to Old Creek Road where we take a right and we will encounter lots of twisties, elevation changes and some great scenery. Then we will take a left onto Highway 46 where we will head west back to Highway 1 and turn right and then continue for a short distance until we turn right onto Main Street in Cambria and on to our destination, the Redwood Cafe. I usually try and find parking on the street across from the restaurant since the parking lot is somewhat of an adventure when you try and exit….LOL. Rick the owner puts on a great breakfast and has great customer service and has been dealing with riders from our Chapter since the Martin Buchanan days when he was General Manager. Approxmately 77.2 miles from Santa Maria to the Redwood Cafe.
This will be our termination / destination point for the ride. I hope to see you on the ride and if you have any questions please contact me at PhilipRietz@comcast.net
