Solvang Brewing Company Late Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Solvang Brewing Company will be the destination / termination point for this ride

After our pre-ride briefing we will exit the parking lot turning right being careful to watch oncoming traffic to the left and the blind corner.  We will cross two lanes and get into the left hand turn lane at the traffic light.  We will head to the southbound entrance ramp to Highway 101 and get in Highway 101 and take it to the Union Parkway exit.  We will turn right at the off ramp and head west traveling to Highway 135 / S. Broadway and get into the left turn lane.  We will make a left hand turn at the traffic light and travel towards Lompoc.  At the Highway 135 / Highway 1 split we will stay to the left and continue south on Highway 135.  We will turn right onto Harris Grade Road and get into single file formation after the turn and before the first right hand turn in the road.  Remember, this is a 2-second spacing so don’t ride up the tailpipe of the rider in front of you.  We will experience a lot of twisties and elevation changes and after we get through the last turn we will go back to a staggered riding formation.  At the four way stop at Burton Mesa Boulevard we will continue going south towards Lompoc until we come to the WYE traffic light where we will turn left and get onto Purisima Road and travel a short distance before we turn right onto Mission Gate Road.  We will travel south to Highway 246 where we will turn right and travel into Lompoc to H Street.  At the traffic light on H Street and Highway 246 we will turn right and travel just over one block and our destination will be on the right.  This will be the termination point for this ride.
