Jalama Beach Lunch Ride

CE – THIS IS A CLOSED RIDE TO THE PUBLIC. MEMBERS MAY BRING TWO GUESTS WITH THEM.

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 – 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PRE-RIDE BRIEFING! (This will allow you time to visit other riders, use the restroom, fuel up, get a cup of coffee, etc.)

PLEASE BRING YOUR SM HOG MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR CURRENT STATUS!

Ride Rating: Moderate

Leaving the parking lot, we will make a right turn toward the traffic light and being careful of the blind curve on your left and pulling into the left hand turn lane. We will go under the overpass to Highway 101 and go north.  Staying on Highway 101 until the Betteravia Road exit on the right.  Taking that off ramp we will then make a right at the traffic light onto Betteravia Road.  We will take Betteravia Road to Foxen Canyon Road to Palmer Road.  At Palmer Road we will make a right onto Highway 101 heading north. We will tak the Union Valley Parkway exit and travel to Highway 135.  We will make a left turn onto the 135 and stay there until we make a right onto Harris Grade Road. Then make a left onto Rucker Road after we get through all of the twisties and past the oil drillings.  We will stay on Rucker Road until we come to the the cross street of Purisima Road.  We will make a left onto Purisima Road going to the roundabout and staying on the right to get onto Highway 246 going into the back way to Lompoc. At the traffic light we will make a left onto Highway 1 Cabrillo Highway.   We will stay on Highway 1 until the Jalama Beach exit sign on the right.  We will turn right onto Jalama Road for about 14 miles until we come to Jalama Beach.  Most of this ride will be staggered riding with some single file going over the passes and Jalama Road.

I will make arrangements with the Ranger Station and the restaurant.
