Note that we now have a new departure point for this ride as we are getting away from using the Chevron Station on Santa Maria Way due to Safety concerns.  This new departure point will offer us a much safer exit and easy access to Highway 101, going north or south.  It is only 2.7 miles further south from the Santa Maria Way location.  Most of the parking lot curbing is marked as a Fire Lane and we will NOT be using the Chevron Station parking lot to stage our bikes.  The Chevron has a lot more pumps, the Extra Mile convenience store, and if you want to roll through the Car Wash with your bike you can do that too.  LOL

We will park in the Grocery Outlet parking lot located behind (west) of the Chevron Station.   When you arrive, gas up if needed, use the restrooms, purchase a snack or beverage and then move your bike to the Grocery Outlet parking lot that is west or behind the station. We will all get use to this after a few times of using the new Chevron Station on E. Clark Avenue.

Sorry for the primitive map but Google Maps has not caught up with the new facilities located on E. Clark Avenue.

We will be meeting at the new Chevron Station on East Clark. After fueling up and using the facilities at the Extra Mile convenient store we will park in the Grocery outlet store parking lot which is behind the Chevron. This is an easier and safer way to the 101 Freeway.  We will head to the 101-freeway and go north. We will take the Highway 166 exit and head east to the Park in New Cuyama. At this stop we will shed excess leathers, jackets, and coffee. (64 miles, 60 min.)

After the break we will continue east on Highway 166 by passing Highway 33 to the Hudson Ranch Road exit on the right.  We will stay on this road the Pine Mountain Club / general store. (40 miles, 50 min)

Across the parking lot is La Lena Mexican Restaurant, 16237 Mil Potrero Highway. After gassing up we will head to Forest Highway 95, to Lockwood Valley Road, to Highway 33 and make a right turn. We will head to Highway 166 make a left turn. This will take us back to the Santa Maria area.

Any questions I can be reached at director@sm-hog.com or call (805) 698-6353.  I hope to see you on the ride. Please sign up on the website.
