The return trip to the Santa Maria area will be our destination / termination point for this ride.

Leaving the parking lot we will make a right turn and we will be careful doing so because of possible oncoming traffic to our left side with the blind curve.   We will make a move to the left hand turn lane at the traffic light.   We will head to the Highway 101 on ramp and head north.   We will take the Highway 166 exit and head east to Richardson Park in New Cuyama.   We will shed some excess leathers, jackets, and coffee if needed (60.7 miles; 63 min.).  After the break we will continue east on Highway 166 by-passing Highway 33 and we will turn right onto Hudson Ranch Road / Mil Protero Highway (14.6 miles from the Park) and we will head south to the Pine Mountain Club / general store / gas station. We will encounter lots of twisties and elevation changes on our way to Pine Mountain Club (23.9 miles, 33 minutes).

I am currently working on a plan for lunch and will update this ride plan when available.

After lunch when we depart Pine Mountain we will turn right out of the parking lot and head east on Mil Protero Highway / Forest Route 9N05 to Lake of the Woods and we will turn right onto Lockwood Valley Road (10.7 miles) and we will once again encounter lots of twisties and elevation changes.   This will take us west-southwest to Highway 33 (26.8 miles, 38 minutes) and we will turn right and head north to Highway 166 (19.6 miles).  We may stop at Richardson Park once again to get rid of some lunch liquids before continuing west on Highway 166 back to the Santa Maria area (63.7 miles) Total mileage: 220 miles

Any questions I can be reached at director@sm-hog.com or call (805) 698-6353.  I hope to see you on the ride.  Please sign up on the website!
